You know, I grew up on Halo, but never really made it past Halo 2 because the PC releases were so slow. So sadly I'm not familiar with the song.

Personally I think Reach has one of the best story lines. You don't need to have played Halo 3 to play Reach. You should also checkout the Anniversary cutscenes in Halo 2, they are beautiful.

I always feel wrong skipping, I'll do a little googling about halo 3 plot line. I'll get to reach heh:)

I dont know how much every game builds off the plot line of the last, so wasn't sure if I wanted to play Halo 3 or just read the plot and skip it, but we'll see.
